This site has been user tested by many members of the DeafBlind community, and has been vetted by Helen Keller Service’s organization as well. The site meets the criteria outlined in W3’s Web Content Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2
This site uses the Able Player to create an accessible experience for all site users. Here is a simple key for the player’s accessible features. All settings can be modified through the settings icon within the player itself.
Allows for subtitles to be turned on and off.
A transcript is shown alongside the video as it plays.
On desktop computers, this enables a picture-in-picture window for sign translation.
Plays descriptive audio during key moments of video.
A video’s playback can be slowed or sped up accordingly.
